Websites by Ricardo is the personal brand evolution of Vertex Platform Solutions. I’m moving away from the agency model and making it clear that you’re working directly with me.
I don’t want to limit that to one industry, or even just service-based businesses. If you have something you want a website for, I want you to feel you can get in touch.
The work that excites me
I’d love to work with someone who is proud of what they’ve made and invested in sharing it. Someone who wants to keep putting things on their website because it matters to them.
A lot of marketing happens on social platforms, but I like the relationship between that content and the website. When a new post goes live or a campaign comes together, the website can reflect it too. Working with someone who wants every part of their business to have that same level of care and output would really excite me.
It doesn’t have to be a constantly updated site, though. Something with a unique design and intention appeals to me just as much. Especially a solo business owner who has a defined idea of what they want and wants a website that really represents the business they’ve made.
Local service businesses are still part of that. I enjoy the work of making a business easier for people in its area to find through search.
Room for different kinds of projects
The personal approach also gives me room for charitable work. If someone wants a website but isn’t sure they can afford it, I’d still like them to reach out. We can talk about what they need and what might be possible.
What I’m doing now
Websites by Ricardo has a website and a YouTube channel. I’ve been making website teardown videos as part of that work: looking at websites and how they could be improved.
I’ll use this page and related articles to document the websites I make, the ideas behind them, and how this move towards a personal brand develops.
